Well--It’s a BOY!

So, everyone thought we were having a girl - except me! This week I went down to San Bernardino twice as Lorisha, our surrogate, had a regular doctor’s appointment on Wednesday and an ultrasound on Thursday. Lorisha is doing very well and so is the baby - everything and everyone is perfect. Lorisha really looks pregnant now. She has a cute little baby bump. We are 20 weeks and 6 days pregnant as of today. I couldn’t believe it when the ultrasound professional told us it was a boy. I was shocked and excited at the same time. Stuart and I had thought of a name for a girl and “initially prepared everything in our heads” for a girl. I was the only one that held out and from the beginning, and always said that we would have a little boy. Stuart was in New York working this week, so when he got home, I told him we were having a girl - just so he could have “his” moment. Shortly thereafter I told him it was a boy, which you could really see from the ultrasound! Our son had his butt up and legs open wide, so we could see “him” well! We are both so happy! I am so excited that I couldn’t sleep last night. Well, we are off to plan for a boy. We have to decide on a name and now we can decorate the nursery with a boy in mind!

I am so very thrilled an happy for the both of you. You are going to have the best looking baby on the planet! I bet you already have the nursery all setup and ready to go!
