Baby Watch 2008

We have a new baby coming!!!

That’s right!  We have a new baby coming and it is a beautiful two month old named Rooney.  He is adorable and will be the best little doggie brother for Quentin.  We asked Quentin if he’d rather have a brother or sister or a doggie and he voted for the dog so here we are.  Neither Allen or I have had an indoor pet so this should be an adventure.  Luckily, our nanny, Jeannette, is a dog whisperer so we should be fine!  Here are some pictures of Rooney who is a “Mi-Ki”.  Yes, google it.

Friends

Quentin is now really getting the concept of friends.  And, when he is angry, he loves to tell them “You’re not my friend anymore.” He’s lucky to have a few good friends in both children and adults.

Christmas 2011

We had a wonderful Christmas with our family in Richmond, VA again this year.  The weather was unusually warm which was a nice treat.  We all had amazing food and wonderful company with the Bell/Williams clan.  This is the first year that Quentin really understood about the presents, Santa Claus, etc.  It makes it so fun for us too!  And, he got his first bike from his Granddaddy “Da” Bell.

Thanksgiving 2011

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Ranch Mirage.  Our friend Julia and her girls, my God Daughters, Dani and Emma came down.  Here are some pictures!

Palm Springs Pride 2011

We had a great time at the Palm Springs Pride Festival and Parade!  Quentin loved all the free candy!!!

Halloween 2011

Halloween started early at our house this year.  Quentin and his good friend Gavin went to the zoo with us for a special “Boo Zoo” where they trick or treated.  We then went to IHOP for a little breakfast.  Now, Superman is ready for his nap.

California Fun

Life continues to be a blast with Mr. Quentin!!!  He is growing so fast and talking like a little adult now.  He’s quite the negotiator!!!

1.  Quentin had his first trip to Disneyland and loved it!!

2.  Aunt Barb and Cousin Will were here from TN to enjoy Disneyland too!

3.  I love this shot.  In truth, Quentin about drove Will nuts because he was just all over him but Will was a good sport (for the most part)! 

4.  Quentin on a play date with his friends Aiden and Austin.  Aiden and Quentin are in the same class at school this year.  And, I work with Aiden and Austin’s dad so it is really fun for all of us to hang out.  These two boys, along with Gavin, are Quentin’s first true friends and he loves them so much.  He is always asking to be with them!

5.  Quentin helped me blow out my birthday candles.  Yes, the big 46!!! 

6.  Quentin is taking swimming lessons and is shown here learning to float with his instructor Eduard who he loves!

7.  Quentin in his first speedo.  He’ll be ready for the Olympics before you know it!
